1. What is your favorite month and why?
Tough question, but I will say November because of Thanksgiving,the first snow will probably appear sometime in November and there is the countdown (and it is an acceptable time to start the countdown) to Christmas and all the preparing and decorating for it! 
2. What is your favorite holiday and why?
Christmas---the traditions,sights,sounds,smells and family laughter and excitement. I love the music and wrapping presents for everyone,too.
3. Are you getting the new iPhone, or are you more of an Android person?
I have an iphone 4 and it is just fine with me...no rush to "upgrade".
4. What is the most thoughtful gift you’ve ever received from someone?
Probably the scrapbook my older sister made me with pictures of my two nieces,she gave it to me before I went away to college.
5. What is something you can’t wait to splurge on?
I just splurged on a Kate Spade purse (new job celebration!!) but the one thing I can't wait to save up for and splurge on is a trip to Australia.

It has been awhile since my last time joining in on the Sunday Social fun,so here I go:

1. What was your college major? Did you ever change majors?
Elementary education! I never did change majors,I knew from the age of seven that I wanted to be a teacher. Sadly though I still don't have my own classroom so I have been looking for other jobs (like working for charities or Veterans'/Soldier programs).
2. What is the best purchase you’ve made lately?
Last weekend I bought a Blackhawks rain jacket for super cheap and some cute Blackhawk colored nailpolish :)
3. What is something silly we don’t know about you and go…
I can't stop reading a book on an odd number page...:)
4. What is your favorite Holiday?
Christmas! I love everything about it! The decorating,the build-up,wrapping presents,donating gifts,celebrating Jesus' birth with family and friends.
5. What is the first thing you do when you wake up?
Make my bed

1. What is your biggest driving pet peeve?

slow drivers...or rude ones who speed by you like you are inconveniencing them

2. What is your biggest blogging pet peeve?
i cannot stand blogs that are just full of outfit/self photos,i mean,come on! i look cute a lot too but i don't need to take eight pictures of myself in one outfit EVERY DAY! i just don't get it.

3. What is your biggest shopping pet peeve?
long lines

4. What is your biggest general pet peeve?
loud chewers...rude people

5. What is your most irrational fear?
here is a random one: having the big pot of boiling pasta water spill on me as i lift the pasta out of it. i can see it happening and i am always paranoid about making sure the pot is snugly on the stove.

french toast! but normally i only eat that if i go out for brunch.
my daily go to is coffee with cereal (rice krispies,cheerios,oatmeal squares) or a french toast waffle!

Australia!

i don't have any of these...

it seems as though the only new show I have seen and continue to watch is the michael j fox show. it is funny and i like the family dynamics. i also tried out marvel's agents of shield but i just wasn't feeling it after three episodes,i want superheros to make an appearance.

i don't have any of these either...but i do want to get an instgram account when i upgrade to a smartphone.

pumpkin picking with my family! it is a whole day activity :)

2. Do you follow a football team? If so, which one and why?
I am a big football fan,I find it rather boring and hard to truly understand but I am a Chicago gal so the Bears are my team...and my alma mater the Fighting Illini, of course.

3. What is something fun about fall in your area?
We actually have leaves and weather that change :) And our local Farm is always fun to visit during the Fall.

4. What are your favorite fall staple outfits?
Jeans+sweater+scarf+tall brown boots

5. What things are you looking forward to most about this coming fall season?
just the change in weather and pumpkin spice lattes and being able to wear my cute scarfs everyday!!
I love Fall!!!

6. What is your favorite fall holiday? Tradition?
Thanksgiving is my favorite, a lot of family together with good food and wine :)

Sesame Street or Mr. Rogers  (when I was super little,of course) then growing up I watched a lot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Full House, Boy Meets World, Saved by the Bell, The Cosby Show....

FRIENDS always :)

Survivor...weird bugs and hot places with no showers,no thanks!

The Amazing Race you get to see a lot of neat and different countries and do goofy challenges,plus no one is really voting you off.

I suppose Monica from FRIENDS since I am a neat freak too and I can't wait to get married and have lots of babies :)

6. Which TV character would you want to date?

Neal Caffrey..duh! He seems fun and exciting and a bit of a bad boy.

1. What is your shopping weakness?

If I am at target,pretty much anything from the dollar section or picture frames :)  Shoes are always a weakness too,I never really need another pair of flats or heels...

1. What is your favorite thing about spring?

The start of longer days, warmer air, flowers blooming,the CUBS baseball season starting.

2. What is your favorite kind of flower to grow or receive?

TULIPS! all the time,I love them in any color.

I enjoy opi's nude/neutral color "tickle my frenchy" but for Spring I also like a light pink or blue.

4. What is your favorite outdoor activity?

Going for walks...and starting my running "season" up again in the nicer weather.

5. Do you have any fun spring plans? Details! :)

Well my birthday occurs during Spring, so some celebrating with family and friends is in order. I am thinking of a Chicago boat tour and dinner downtown with my Besties for sure to mark the occasion.

Revenge...I hear all good things but I just haven't watched it yet,maybe this Summer.

Maybe not so daring but it would be fun: scuba diving. 

And I sort of want to sky dive but I am more terrified that my parachute wouldn't open...

4. Would you ever travel alone?

Yes! I already have;last March I went to NYC on my own, granted I stayed with one of my cousins but she was busy most days so I was riding the subway and accomplishing my "must do/see" list by myself. It was great,too! No one to listen to but me :)
