Christmas in the City with my Besties!! The classic Christkindle Market and then walking around the Loop before dinner.

Before I came home for Christmas,I went to a drive-thru Christmas Lights show;it was really cool!

We have grown from 6 to 8 and it just keeps getting better and better!! I love my People!

Boston glimpses

Boston was awesome!! I loved that basically everything is within walking distance. The subway is easy enough to use AND the people are so nice!

Bestie B and I hit just about everything--Beacon Hill,Back Bay, American Trail tour, a Boat/Harbor Tour, Little Italy, Boston Common and Garden, Duck Boat Tour, the Cheers bar, toured the USS Constitution and Cassin Young Ships, Sam Adams Brewery and Fenway Park for a game.

We also watched the last two Stanley Cup games with our Blackhawks winning it all!

Weekend in Boston

I am still in Boston,having s great time with Bestie B! Soaking up the warmth and sunshine while we walk,explore,eat,shop and take in the stunning architecture and history.

We are missing the other half (3) of our group but here I am with Besites B and K at Bestie B's (and Bestie M's,she was taking the picture actually) birthday party last weekend. We all have been friends since middle school! That is a whole 15 years!! Man how time flies!!

Boston!

I am Boston bound this Summer! Bestie B and I finally started the ball rolling and bought our tickets.

The only two activities we have set up already are: a Boston Red Sox game and the American Trail Tour.

Possibly a beer tour...or a Duck Boat ride Tour....

I am just excited to explore their Little Italy,cute shops,history and walk around and take photographs of the classic East Coast.

Any other suggestions are greatly needed! Especially food or hotel related...!

Saturday

weekend cleaning

coffee with Bestie P and I bought two tops from Von Maur

then I went downtown for the night and met up with Besties B and M for Chicago's Oktoberfest! Such a fun night!!

Sixteen Candles closed out the night--what a cool 80s cover band!!

Sunday

Mass then brunch with my parents and twin sister at one of our Aunt and Uncle's. Then I made dinner and started packing for my weekend trip to Omaha!!

a Summer weekend

Friday, I took the day off of work for a dr's appointment and brunch/mani/pedi with Bestie P. I did some reading and watching of the Tour de France,too. A glorious day!

Bestie E's wedding! What a sweet,beautiful ceremony and bride and groom! A great celebration of their new life together and so much fun was had!!

church,watched the Tour, read more of The Dead Will Tell ,took a nap!

Friday

I did my Saturday cleaning, then drank some wine and ate homemade turkey meatball sandwiches with fresh veggies for dinner.Chilled out in front of the tv.

Saturday

Up early,stopped at Starbucks for coffee and then drove up to Lake Geneva with the Besties! We celebrated Bestie E's bachelorette weekend! There could not have been a more prefect day for this! Glorious weather,an awesome time was had with all the girls and delicious food was eaten.

Sunday

Father's day was low-key but it was just what my Dad wanted. And I accomplished some things and finished reading,Songs of Willow Frost

Nashville: Day 3

The Nashville Zoo! We loved walking around the pretty paths,the day was sunny and in the high 70s so perfection! 

                                     

                                             

A staple in Nashville,the Pancake Pantry for lunch...tasty pancakes,I ordered the Banana Bread ones and they were decent (filled with too many walnuts though...I hate nuts in my breads/muffins,etc lol)

                                         

Then we went to the Grand Ole Opry! What a neat tour backstage it was!
