Participating in the March of Dimes' March for Babies for the seventh year in a row on Saturday morning! My team raised over $2,200!! So proud!!

Stopping for coffee and fresh bakery treats after the Walk.

Enjoying pizza and the Blackhawks game (win! a big win,too!) on Saturday night.

what a weekend!

Highlights from my birthday weekend:

Friday was my actual birthday, and it started off big with the news that Lovebug #6 made his own debut! Welcome to the World, sweet boy!

I went to work then out to a favorite restaurant with some of of the family for dinner then cake!

Saturday evening I went out with all my Besties and enjoyed sitting around a table,catching up with them all. 

Sunday was spent at Church then home for lunch and the Blackhawks game (a win!) then I watched a movie with dinner and called it a night. 

This weekend was a spent having a great time celebrating my birthday with family and friends. I couldn't ask for more!

Lovebug #4 is officially 5 and I don't know how that happened!!

I love this boy and the joy,silliness,adventure,creativity and smiles he give me every time I see him.

Christmas Eve 2014

A smaller (only 12 people!) affair this year but we still celebrated Jesus and being able to be with one another for yet another Christmas.

 

                                       
                                         

                               

Our traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner was followed by big bro J's homemade cookies. Santa stopped by (he brought me a Blackhawks beer stein!!), everyone took turns operating the train that my Dad puts up every year and I helped the Lovebugs track Santa on Norad.. A lovely evening it was!!

Thanksgiving 2014

A table set for 16,not a scary number in our family and it is still fun to see everyone sitting together. Passing plates as we dish out sides, hearing laughter and talking between bites of dinner. Watching my Mom and Dad do their things in the kitchen--this is the one meal where I have vivid memories of both of my parents in the kitchen at the same time,cooking. Trying a plethora of pumpkin beers (courtesy of big bros J and MK) and digging into slices of pie after all is said and done. Skyp-ing with the Cali Ks after we ate the glorious feast. Watching Uncle and Niece cook together,it seems to be the new Thanksgiving tradition. Talking baby names for Lovebug #6 who is due to make their entrance in April!! Soaking up family and silliness;a glorious Thanksgiving it was!

my family's annual Pumpkin Day! We went up to Wisconsin for lunch,picking pumpkins at a local Farm then stopped at a park and for some custard (at Adrian's Custard,of course).

Lighthouse

A true historic and coastline must---visit a lighthouse! 

I was so excited to go inside and take a tour BUT then we learned the whole tour was 45 minutes long and you had to stay with the group and it was 98 degrees inside...so we opted to just tour outside :) Still a beautiful sight to capture!

Beach Time

The Lovebugs had a BLAST playing in the sand,waves and water and searching for seashells. Lovebug  #1 took up boogie boarding and Lovebug #4 thought it would be funny to pretend that the boogie boards were dogs he would walk around the beach :)

weekend:NC style

This weekend I enjoyed my last day of vacation and then headed home Saturday (arriving super early on Sunday morning,to be exact) from a week long trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  What a great,peaceful and enjoyable time it was---and a much needed break for me.
