Christmas fun in the city (part 1)

On Sunday, some of the Besties and I went downtown to see the Christmas lights and visit the Christkindlemarket. The Christkindlemarket is an annual month long German holiday market that is set up downtown in the Loop. (And it is free admission!)

It was fun walking around to all the stands/stalls that were filled with hand made ornaments, wooden trinkets, star lanterns, knit hats,cuckoo-clocks, authentic German food, and more ornaments.

It definitely didn't feel like we were in the middle of Chicago!
