thursday's thoughts

Linking up with Sarah today!

one this warm weather is nice but i am sort of tired of it already (makes my hair frizzy and i sweat more ,blah!)

two i am still running 3-4 times a week and i am proud of myself for pushing myself each time and going further for longer. yesterday i ran 1.6 miles and my time was about 18 mins which i am beyond thrilled about! nothing to boost about if i were a "true" runner but for just starting up again about a month ago i am pumped.

three i am getting my haircut tonight! the last time i got it cut was last november...so a trim is MUCH needed :)

four letters from home by kristina mcmorris is a great read and i am only 75 pages into it. i love a good love story and a war-time one to boost.

five saturday is bestie coffee-date day and i am really looking forward to it. coffee + girl talk + shopping at von maur is always fun

six my favorite tv shows are finally new again but only for another week or two, then they are over for the season (boo!!). at least i have my usa network shows that return in the Summer months.

seven i love my mani/pedi that i had done last weekend, and it is still looking good!

eight tomorrow is friday!! but how in the heck is it may 3rd today?!?! crazy!

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I look forward to reading yours. Your nieces and nephews are too cute and it must be so hard to have 2 of them so far away in CA! I talk about my 2 nieces on my blog a lot too. I just got back from Chicago (went for 3 days last weekend). You can read about it on my blog. I had so much fun but it was too cold! :)

  2. Great job running! I'm impressed that you go so often. I posted a week or so ago about wanting to take up running and still haven't gotten my butt out to do it.

  3. If you ask me, 1.6 miles in 18 minutes is AWESOME! We can be "runners" together ('cuz we're awesomely "slow" in the grand scheme of life), but remember we're lapping everybody on the couch!

    Internet high five!

  4. I always get so sad this time of the year thinking about all my shows going away!
