Lord Stanley,again!

In honor of today's Stanley Cup parade and rally for my favorite team, the Blackhawks,here are some pictures I took at the 2013 parade. I opted out of going to this year's celebration because once is enough and my awesome memories will last me. (It was a long,crowded,hot day but so worth it for out front row spots on the parade route!)

I am thrilled for the Blackhawks,what a neat feat they have accomplished,again! I watched and cheered in Boston during the last two games. Fun and anxiety ridden games they were though.

A night out

Even though it was a Tuesday night.

Even though it was a work night.

Even though the Blackhawks ended up losing.

Even though it was a late night when I got home...

A night out with some friends is still worth it!

Being at the last Blackhawks regular season home game was fun for an April evening.

These make me smile and cry,good tears of course. People that give back,that is just awesome! Warms my heart!

another season!

Hooray for October,it means Fall...and Hockey season!!

I am so excited for another amazing season (last year we were robbed I tell ya!) and to see all the guys back out on the ice. I have been a hockey/Blackhawks fan since late 2009 when I went to my first ever game at the United Center with my Besties;we can't get enough of the sport!

I love hockey and I think it is the toughest sport,so fast paced and high energy. Being born-and-bred in Chicago and being a Blackhawks fan is just icing on the cake :)

2012 ( I don't think I went to a game at the UC this year...)

 I watched them win the Cup again with some of the Besties.

It is finally here,the new season of hockey!! I am so pumped for tonight's opener!! Sure, last season just ended a couple months ago and the Hawks won the Cup,again,but I just love hockey in general so I am so excited to get thrown into the excitement once again :)

Yesterday morning was an early start, a long wait in the hot sun,being a part of massive crowds, watching some rude and drunk people, watching some stupid people, great people watching and ONE HECK OF A TIME!!!

Holy Moley, I can't even believe the last two minutes of the game! That was just plain crazy! My thoughts went from "darn,game seven it will be...sweet,tied it up!...what the heck,another goal!!!...holy crap they won!!!"

Man,the Bruins were TOUGH and one deserving team as well but I am glad our guys rocked it out and kept it up like they have all season.
