1.My family will always be there for me and vice versa. We have our issues and annoyances but these are my family,through thick and thin and I wouldn't have it any other way

2. God is good ALL the time...He hears me and loves me,I have to remember to do the same for Him.

3.Target is the best place to shop and waste time,any day :)

4.Chocolate can fix anything,and you can never have too much

5. A good book can be the best medicine some days.

6. Coffee is a necessity

7. Firemen, police offices, nurses, soldiers and teachers should be paid what Hollywood stars are paid,they are more than deserving of better pay

7 People I'd like to meet:

Grandpa and Grandma J and Grandma K because I would love to see them with my parents and to see similarites in person rather than just from photos. And they all raised lovely kids it would be fun to see them with their grandkids and to tell stories about my Mom and my Dad.

 

Kristan Higgins;she is one of my favorite authors and seems so happy and down-to-earth plus she lives in the Northeast so it would be fun to travel there.

 

Jennifer Garner because she is a wonderful actress and seems so involved in her children's live and happy to raise them instead of focusing on just movies. I would like to know what she thinks about raising kids in Hollywood.

 

Reese Witherspoon;she is my all-time favorite actress. It would be fun to pick her brain on being raised in TN, living in Hollywood and raising kids there along with which movies were her favorie to make,etc.

 

Abraham Lincoln because who wouldn't want a chance to talk to him about being President during the Civil War and being a major component in abolishing slavery.

NeedtoBreathe; they are so talented and seem honest and open about their relationships with Him and the love they have for Him and His work.

Five Favorite Recipes:


1. Simple Scones
I try to make scones every couple of weeks and I always get rave reviews. They have actually become a staple on our Christmas morning breakfast table. My go-to add in for these scones are cinnamon chips (I use King Arthur's cinnamon chips) and they are divine. I also love to use pumpkin instead of sour cream for my pumpkin scones, or I toss in cranberries and some lemon zest in the Summer time. The title says it all, simple scones indeed!

2. Pumpkin Bread
I just made a batch of this bread this weekend. So quick to make because you mix everything into one big bowl and it tastes awesome. I can usuall get one big loaf AND 3 mini loaves out of one recipe. It seriously makes a lot of pumpkin bread!

3. Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies
I LOVE these cookies! I make them all the time, and my brother-in-law has requested them for his past two birthdays!! I  like to toss in lots of chocolate chips (like dark chocolate, white chocolate, semi sweet). My 2 year old nephew recently helped me make these--a fun and easy cookie recipe

4. Italian Casserole
This is a recipe that my family has had for years and years (it was cut out from the newspaper decades ago... so I don't have the link for you, sorry! But if you are interested, email me and I will type it up for you!). Basically you put cooked egg noodles, spinach, ground beef, tomato paste, tomato sauce, carrots,spices, onion, garlic into a big pot and simmer it for an hour or so. The smell alone is heavenly and it tastes even better. A great meal that pairs perfectly with red wine and some freshly baked bread.

5. Gnocchi
It is no secret that I totally indulge my Italian roots (I could/would eat pasta everyday) so I love Giada's recipes. Earlier this year I tried her recipe for gnoochi and it was perfecto! And truly easy and relatively quick. Grate some fresh Parmesan cheese on top and have some red wine and you are set :)

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?

AUSTRALIA!






I have been itching to go for years and years, I don't even really know where my obsession came from. Although I did love watching Steve Irwin and I adore an Australian accent (the sexiest accent there is,if you ask me). I want to see all of this glorious Continent and Country; drive up the Eastern Side (Queensland, New Soth Wales, Victoria), visit the Northern Territory and Western side, submerge myself in the South part.

I mean, come on,it looks amazing and magical!









Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef!









Learning/Attempting to Surf on the Sea or Ocean!



Seeing kangaroos!





Holding a Koala--visiting their awesome zoos/animal parks!







Going in the Outback!






Immersing myself in all they have to offer! Listening to their glorious accents! Staying far away from their poisonous snakes..and their crocodiles!

If it weren't so darn expensive I would go tomorrow...and heck,I would move there for at least a year too.

Hopefully, one day I will be able to cross Australia off my "must travel to" list.
