Day 3: Hometown
I am thankful for my hometown (a northern suburb near CHICAGO,IL).
I love that it is big and small (population is over 45,000) but it isn't that big.
I love that my hometown is over 100 years old and still growing/improving.
I love that we are close to Chicago/downtown fun...just hop on the L, metra train, or take the highway.
I love that my hometown has everything you need and then some (like our very own farm! and the kohls' children's museum! and a historic landmark that takes up back to the pioneer days!)
I love that we used to have a Naval Base in the middle of our town, and even though it is gone now, we still honor our service men/women.
I love that my hometown has the best soft serve ice cream stand :)
I love that it is a fun place to live and grow up.
I love that my hometown is my home!
